Türk Prysmian Kablo of Prysmian Group, the world leader of our country and the cable industry, held its 2023 Authorized Dealers Meeting in Cyprus between 10-12 November 2023. The main theme of the meeting, which was attended by A-Team authorized dealers and domestic sales and marketing, logistics and finance teams, was sustainability again. In the meeting where the first 9 months of 2023 were evaluated and 2023 targets were discussed, Türk Prysmian Kablo’s sustainability vision and targets as well as the sustainability activities carried out together with the dealers were discussed.
Ülkü Özcan, CEO of Prysmian Kablo in Turkey, made a presentation titled Global and Economicization. He talked about the relationship between sustainability and economic growth and the Sustainability Report for 2021 and 2022 prepared by Prysmian Turkey by giving examples from Turkey.
With his presentation titled A-Team Performance Evaluation, Etem Bakaç, Domestic Sales Director, made an evaluation speech including the performances of dealers and regions. Within the scope of sustainability studies, the beginning adventure and future of Prysmian Group was explained by Cinzia Farisè, MEART Regional Director, in her presentation titled Prysmian Group: Towards a Sustainable Future. She gave examples of the contributions to be made to the future and included Prysmian Group’s zero carbon footprint targets. Globally, what Prysmian Group has done regionally and step by step from the past to the future, the goals and the work done were explained. Tamer Yavuztürk, MEART Regional and Turkey Marketing and Communication Director, talked about the work done and to be done on the way to Prysmian Group’s carbon zero targets with his presentation titled Carbon Zero Target and Eco Cable. He explained the carbon emissions and carbon footprint achieved within the scope of sustainable works carried out with A-Team dealers for more than 1 year. He also talked about the technical studies on Eco Cable.
Following the presentations and evaluations at the end of the meeting, Etem Bakaç, Domestic Sales Director, announced the awards of the A-Team authorized dealers who completed the previous year with successful results, as they do every year.
2022 Highest Turnover Turkey First Prize was again awarded to DES Elektrik. The first prize was presented by MEART Regional Director Cinzia Farisè to Deniz Tarkan Karslı, General Manager of DES Elektrik.
2022 Turkey’s first prize in Real Growth was again awarded to DES Elektrik. The first prize was presented to Teoman Türker from DES Elektrik by Turkey Prysmian Factory Manager Bertan Bilgin.
2022 Prysmian Dealer with the Highest Utilization Rate was again awarded to DES Elektrik. The First Prize was presented to DES Elektrik Sales Manager Kemal Ayran by Nurdan Topoğlu, Turkey Prysmian Domestic Sales Chief.
2022 Istanbul Region Turnover First Prize was again awarded to DES Elektrik. The first prize was presented to Okay Gümüş, Business Development Manager of DES Elektrik by Ufuk İnce, Turkey Prysmian Marmara and Black Sea Regional Manager.
After 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, DES Electricity won the Turkey and Istanbul Turnover First Prize for the 6th time in 2022. DES Electricity, which started its preparations for 2024 with the philosophy of “we are a big family with you”, will continue to serve sustainable tomorrows with a stronger and corporate line by opening Antalya, Izmir and Black Sea regions with its corporate understanding and innovation dynamism and power.
